Argentina is of course the "new" home of Malbec. Originally a French grape, single varietal Malbecs from Argentina are world class. El Nudo is a perfect example. The grapes are hand-picked and fermented using indigenous yeasts in stainless steel. Ageing in French oak barrels adds the perfect finish to the wine, leaving an aroma that is reminiscent of ripe red fruits and blackberries with notes of freshly picked roses.
This is really a lovely wine.
