This Riesling is made from grapes that have been grown on four different vineyard sites. What this gives is breadth of character to the wine. The leaner, more savoury side comes from the slate soil parcel, whilst the more generous citrus fruit flavours are delivered by the grapes grown on the richer, redder soils. The end result is an attractive, fruit-forward white with a crisp freshness.

The wine is fermented in stainless steel at 12C using cultured yeast, each vineyard block kept separate until after fermentation. Bright, light straw-green; the bouquet is arresting, with floral aromas of citrus, honeysuckle, and even honey, that segue fluidly into the flavour-filled palate, playing a reprise of the bouquet.
