Malbec is known today as the quintessentially Argentinian wine, but it actually originated from France, and is one of the historical components of the Bordeaux blend of grapes. This single varietal Malbec is from Cahors in South West France and is a lovely wine. Château du Cèdre is a family run estate that is certified organic and whose goal is to combine best of winemaking techniques from Burgundy and Bordeaux to make wines which highlight their terroir using the most up to date methods.
