2009 Silvano Bolmida Barolo Bussia
$568.00
Barolo is one of the most well known wines of Italian and Barolo wines are famous for their quality. This Barolo from Silvano Bolmida is a serious wine. It is full of flavour and complexity and this will only increase as it matures.

Good healthy medium red. Musky, slightly high-toned aromas and flavors of plum, truffle, underbrush and nutty oak. Less sweet and more backward on the palate than the Vigne dei Fantini, showing less personality today. Here the tannins are a bit more serious.

Commune of Monforte d’Alba. Mid ruby with orange-tinged rim. Pronounced iron and just a touch of leather. Fruit seems a little locked in on the nose. Transparent, if austere and embryonic for the moment and with a fine cherry-fruit finish. (WS)
