This Champagne house has five centuries of experience to fall back on, having been established in the 1600s. Here the grapes from each plot are vinified separately, which allows the wine makers to identify and make the best of each site’s finest characteristics.
The final Champagne is elegant and aromatic with light toasted brioche notes and flavours baked green apples, roasted hazelnuts and sweet spice. A finely textured Champagne with real poise.

A pretty and beautifully layered nose speaks of toasty, yeasty and brioche-suffused aromas that are liberally cut with citrus, green apple and floral hints. There is both excellent richness and volume to the delicious and full-bodied, as well as full-flavored, flavors that possess excellent complexity on the notably dry but not at all austere finale. This is a big Champagne in the sense that it's full-on and delivers outstanding length but if your taste does not run to linear, lean and ultra-crisp examples, then this would be a really good alternative for you to consider. I quite like this but if refinement and delicacy are what you want, there are better choices.

Aromas of fresh pear, lemongrass and lime zest, with a hint of jasmine. Juicy and penetrating, with tangy citrus and orchard fruit and flavors underscored by a note of chalky minerality. Finishes clean and racy, with lingering floral and gingery spice qualities.

Geoffroy’s NV Brut Premier Cru Expression is totally alive in the glass. Vibrant and delineated, the Expression bursts from glass with dried pears, flowers, almonds and Chamomile. A blend of 47% Pinot Meunier, 40% Pinot Noir and 13% Chardonnay, the Expression is all about texture and volume from the red grapes, which give tons of richness without detracting from the wine’s essential energy, tension and pure drive. A crystalline, layered finish rounds things out beautifully. This is a great showing from a wine loaded with class. Disgorgement date: April 2012. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2016.
