2006 Nicolas Rossignol Pommard 1er Cru Les Chanlins
$988.00
Scores: WS:89 AVG: 89
Pommard delivers some of the most masculine Pinot Noir wines in Burgundy and this is a classic example. The fruit is more cassis than red berry, nicely combined with spice, leather and dark chocolate. Very classy indeed.
Wine Spectator, Jan 2009, 89
Starts out lush and polished, showing blackberry, mint and mineral notes, then firms up, with the tannins becoming more assertive by the finish. Best from 2010 through 2017. 50 cases made.
