Bodegas Altanza's Gran Reserva is 100% Tempranillio and is a rounded, complex, velvety wine with good levels of acidity, and a really impressive fresh palate with refined tannins. The winery's goal has always been to offer the best possible quality wine at a sensible price. As a relatively young Rioja winery, they combine tradition with modern production methods, ensuring that their wines are of consistently good quality.
As this vintage is out of stock, we would be happy to suggest an alternative if you contact us by email or phone.

Dark ruby. Cherry compote, raspberry and pipe tobacco aromas, with suave floral and spicecake notes and a hint of vanilla. Broad and supple in texture, offering sweet red fruit flavors and notes of bitter chocolate and candied rose. Finishes sweet and long, with fine-grained tannins adding shape and closing grip. Shows very good complexity already but has the depth to age.
