California Napa Valley
Nowadays there are several core wine-producing areas in California, mainly in North Coast Area, Central Coast Area and Sierra Foothills Area, and so on. Among these regions, Napa Valley and Sonoma Valley are more famous. Napa Valley is located in the north California, facing Pacific Ocean. It produces some of the most famous wines worldwide, especially Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Due to the fast development of wine industry, Napa Valley now has increased from around 10 wineries to over 200 wineries since 1980s. The wineries’ professional architecture shows luxury traditional castle style to modern style. Napa Valley is oriented south and north, over 30 km. The weather differs a lot between south and north and soil is complex, so it brings a variety of grapes.
